With age, the amount of active substances in the skin decreases, making the skin less elastic, drier and more prone to irritations. PURITE cream’s unique formula ensures that all its ingredients supplement each other and magnify its positive effects – the well-nourished skin becomes firm and shiny, with visibly less wrinkles.
Among its various components, the rootstalk of the common ruscus contains ruscogenin, which has anti-inflammatory properties, improving circulation and inhibiting elastin decomposition – the protein responsible for skin elasticity. The plant’s antioxidant flavonoids have anti-inflammatory effects and seal blood vessels, strengthening tissues and increasing their elasticity. Cosmetics containing ruscus reduce any redness and puffiness around the eyes, regulate blood circulation and soothe inflammations.
Damask rose flower hydrolate inhibits the formation of wrinkles while simultaneously tightening the skin, giving it a younger appearance. It has a very delicate hypoallergenic composition.
The lecithin in the wheat germ oil inhibits water loss, moisturising the skin, softening and oiling it. The proestrogenic substances in the oil accelerate damaged epidermis reconstruction, improve the skin’s general appearance, regenerating and moisturising it, while the antioxidants inhibit the oxidisation process, preventing the skin from ageing.
Rosehip oil contains unique natural all-trans retinoic acid (vitamin A acid, tretinoin), which regenerates tissues at the cellular level. In addition, it is characterised by a high omega-6 and omega-3 acid content. These compounds are an important component of cell membranes and the precursors of prostagladin and leukotrienes – the molecules that stimulate tissue regeneration. Rosehip oil also contains carotenoids (beta-carotene, licopene, zaexanthin) with antioxidant properties, which prevent wrinkles from forming.
Jojoba oil is rich in vitamin E, phytosterols, fatty acids and squalene. It has a high biological concordance with the skin, absorbing quickly and moisturising the skin intensely.
Chamomile is an inconspicuous white flower whose magical powers have been recognized since Antiquity. Its antiseptic properties are well-known in medicine. Chamomile flowers contain many medicinal substances, including chamazulene, bisabolol, flavonoids, coumarin, mucus, vitamin C, mineral salts and azulene, which help to soothe irritations and inflammations and facilitate the healing process.
Matcha tea is a very powerful antioxidant, responsible for neutralising the negative effects of free radicals. This green powder also contains many other important natural vitamins, minerals and elements, which have a very beneficial effect on the skin.
This is similar to the cornflower, which primarily contains flavonoids, well-known antioxidants, phenolic acids and coumarins, as a result of which it has decongestant properties and reinforces the skin’s blood vessels.
Lady’s mantle is a fantastic regenerative herb, which makes the skin more elastic, firmer and more resilient. Using its leaves in cosmetics has a positive effect on connective tissue through the regeneration of capillary vessels, as well as reducing discolourations or even eliminating them completely.
Horsetail is one of the oldest plants in the world. Aside from being a source of mineral salts, flavonoids, saponins and tannic acid, horsetail is also a good source of silicon, which aids the process of natural collagen production. Horsetail has a strong remineralizing and anti-degenerative effect, positively influencing the blood vessels of the internal organs, skin, hair, nails and bones.
The damiana shrub has various properties very beneficial to the entire body. It was highly valued by the ancient Mayans, who used it as a cure for the scorpion’s bite. It is very effective at eliminating toxins, while also strengthening the body, acting as a natural aphrodisiac, and an antidote for depression and fatigue.
The Asiatic pennywort is also a strong adaptogen. Aside from its fortifying properties, it also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, as well as neutralising free radicals. The asiaticoside in the plant prevents swelling, reduces capillary vessel permeability, has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, heals wounds, while also stimulating the body to granulate and form scar tissue. Used in cosmetic products, it shows a strong anti-inflammatory effect and counteracts damage to skin tissue. Much like estrogens, it has a positive influence on fibroblasts, stimulating collagen and elastin synthesis. It also stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, responsible for moisturising the skin. It makes skin thicker and more elastic, smooths wrinkles and improves skin hydration. Pennywort extracts are a valuable ingredient of any cosmetic that counteracts skin-ageing processes and the formation of wrinkles, especially for women going through menopause. In women with visible signs of photageing using cosmetics containing pennywort, a significant reduction in the amount of deep and surface wrinkles has been observed, while their skin is firmer and better hydrated.
Essential oils are exceptional active substances that originate from various plants. Their microscopic elements often behave like living organisms – they vibrate, have their own frequencies, enter into reactions with our bodies on the cellular level, as a result of which they can stimulate cell regeneration, cleanse the body of toxins or even stop the ageing process. The oils in the cream include cypress oil, which strengthens blood vessels and delays the ageing process, lavender oil, which calms the mind and smooths the skin, and peppermint oil, which constricts blood vessels, reducing any redness and dark circles near the eyes. The pine, myrtle, oregano and spruce oils are supposed to magnify the effects of the remaining ingredients, while also acting as preservatives and providing a pleasant fragrance.
